H. Paul Pressler, III

Founding partner H. Paul Pressler was first admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1957. During a distinguished career in law and public service, he has served a state district judge, justice of the Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas and elected member of the Texas House of Representatives. He also was First Vice President for the Southern Baptist Convention and was appointed by President George H. Bush to the Presidents Drug Advisory Council. Additionally, he serves or has served on a number of boards, including the Coalition for America, the Council for National Policy, National Religious Broadcasters, Salem Communications and KHCB Radio Network.

He graduated cum laude from Princeton University and earned his law degree from the University of Texas. Awards and recognition include the Outstanding Young Man of Houston by the Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1957, the DAR Medal of Honor(1976), Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from Criswell College, Winston Churchill Youth Council, Council for National Policy(1997), University of Houston Host Family Award(1998), Daughters of Liberty Service Award(1999), Harris County Republican Party Pioneer Award(1999), Southern Baptist of Texas Convention Distinguished Service Award(2000), and the Council for National Policy Ronald Reagan Lifetime Achievement Award(2004).
